I came across this web page and thought it may be of interest to any one who wanted to build their own PC but was unsure how to do it.

In our case we have a single fan, and remembering our case flow is going from front to back, we placed the fan to blow air in the same direction, through the front to the back of the heatsink.

Except you then went on and mounted the CPU cooler pointing at the roof rather than to the back of the case. .

I usually build the Left Way.

I can also pick holes in their 'right' way to build, but heck, you can't go too far wrong, it will work. ;-)
