How to block zip attachments

How can I block zip attachments, or in particular the email virus
message.zip?

you can create a rule if the subject is the same - or use a product like
mailwasher, but you can't block a specific zip file without using an AV
scanner.

According to
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;312834, you can
create a Level1Add registry key to specify your own file extensions to
block. Never used it as I want to receive attachments rather than block
them. I figure the control over what to do with an attachment is my
responsibity, not Uncle Microsoft's.
