I need to know how I can remove a cuss word from my movie. There is a word
that I need to simply "Bleep" out or mute out, but I dont know how I would do
this without interfering with the audio for the entire clip. Please help me!
I need it for a final assignment due this Tuesday!! Thanks & I'd appreciate
the help...

With the video clip on the timeline
in movie maker...Split the video on
each side of the unwanted word...then
right click the portion that contains
the word and choose Mute.

Maybe something in the following
tutorial will work for you:

"Splitting A Clip In MM2.1"

Drag the video/audio clip to the
Timeline.

Play the video/audio by clicking the
"Play" button under the view screen.

You will see the Playback Indicator
(vertical line) advancing across the
timeline.

Click the "Pause" button at the point
where you wish to trim and type...
Ctrl+L or click the "Split" button at the
bottom of the view screen.
(you can also make adjustments by
dragging the Playback Indicator)

Make as many splits as you want and
mute the unwanted phrases by right
click / mute.

Another way is to place a clip of audio in the audio / music track near the
bottom of the timeline window underneath the section of the video clip with
the offending word. You can then drawn out the sound or clip the video
before and after the word then mute that piece of video so only the audio
clip plays.

Or you could simple clip the video before and after the word and simply mute
the video clip.
