Hi alls,
I'm trying to include an old domain (which is a forest, a tree and a domain)
into a secondary domain.

Now I have a primary: mmm.com.mx
and have another primary: ship1.mmm.com.mx

But I need to include the domain ship1 into mmm.com.mx like a secondary
domain.

Is there some way to do it?

Thanx.

If you are asking how do you merge a domain into an existing forest...
You can't.

If you just need to be able access resources between them, you need a
trust. I would recommend reading up on trusts and forest trusts.

Hello Joe,

In another way, do you know if what I'm thinking is possible?, how can I
backup my AD (from my old forest-tree-domain) and then create a new
secondary domain, so later I can recover all my objects.

I mean, I have 100 users on a shoddy domain, and what I'm trying is not to
recreate it, do you know somebody who contrive with this before?.

Thanx for the advice.
