I need to send my pc to the manufacturer and I want to backup my files onto a cd. How do I do this ? I have a HP pavilion ze4300

Put in a blank CD in to your CD Burner and click and drag your data file or
folders at a time to your CD drive icon under my computer and then a message
will appear telling you that you have file to burn. Then you click on that
message and it will take you from there.

You'll need a backup program capable of backing up to CDR. The one that
comes with Windows XP does not.

I personally use BackUP MyPC from Stomp. Works very well.
