Reinstalling Outlook 2000 makes one lose favorites.
Reinstlling Internet Explores makes one lose links.

I know how to backup .PST files/
Is there a way to backup and restore:
1: Outlook 2000 favorites and
2: Intenet Explorer's Links.

Regards.

Don't know about Outlook Favorites (never seen or used them ... not sure
what you are referring to).

In Internet Explorer, Menu: File/Import and Export ... and from there it
should be clear. More information available to you in IE's Help.

Look for the folder Favorites under
C:\Windows (Win 9x single user) or
C:\Documents and Settings\[your username] (Win 2000 or XP)
Links are just a folder under Favorites.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

The .fav file contains Outlook Bar settings. What Outlook shows on its
Favorites menu is the same as Internet Explorer's Favorites.
