Hello all,
We've recently installed BCM on our server (Windows Server 2003 SBE) and
would like to start using it as our CRM. We have a daily tape backup that
takes place every night, but the problem is we don't know how Outlook stores
the BCM database. In the event of a corrupted database, what files would we
restore to bring the database back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Shefsta,

I believe that if you point to the "Business Contact Manager" menu >
"Database Tools" > "Manage Database", there would be some buttons
including "Backup Database" and "Restore Database". I think they store
their database inside SQL server instead of physical files that you can
get to, so you may need to use that "Backup Database" function to get
what you want.

Hope that Helps,

John

The BCM database is typically in this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager
