Because my .NET CF application needs a permanent GPRS connection, how can i
avoid that my Pocket PC (iPaq 3875) powers off?

firstly isn't there a setting to ensure it doesn't power
off on the hardware itself,
secondly: there is a way to do it from code and it's in
this forum somewhere, if i get time i will locate and
thirdly
permanent gprs connection!!! isn't that very expensive
for your customers

Permanent GPRS connection isn't a problem since you pay only for the bytes
that you transfer (of couse that's the case here in Belgium).

Not necessarily. I have a $19.99/mo unlimited GPRS plan for example from
T-Mobile US

Sorry Marc, maybe stupid question but what do you mean with "page 7 subject
