How to avoid reboot the PC

Hi all folks,

If forgeting plug-in the broadband cable after bootup the
PC, is there anyway to make connection to Internet
avoiding reboot the PC.

Just plug the cable any try it. If that does not work use ipconfig /release
then ipconfig /renew. Why do you unplug it? --- Steve

Occasionally the cable was removed to test another PC and
forgot to plug-in to original PC before booting. After
booting and plug-in the cable it worked sometimes.
Another time it did not and forced me to reboot the PC.

Next time I will test it with your advice.
