As I read mail I sort it into various personal folders for storage. Often
this results in long threads being stored in these folders and when I view
them by conversation every email is a reply to the last:
Conversation Topic
PersonX
PersonY
PersonX
PersonY
PersonZ
The top three messages are redundant data since the last mail has the
complete thread history in it anyway. The bottom message is not redundant
since it has info that is not in any other mail.
Is there a way to automatically delete all of the earlier messages in all
conversations in a folder? In the example above I would want it to delete
the first 3 messages of the conversation, but not the bottom 2. I also would
not want it to delete any message that has an attachment, since replying to a
message with an attachment will not preserve the attachement.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!
