how to auto save email vista

my inbox only has email from about a week or so back.. is there a way to make
it keep them all in there, or automatically move all to the saved folder
after i read them?

i am using an aol email address

It retains all mail, there is no setting to automatically delete it (IMAP
excluded).

What type of account do you have set up?

i have it set as an imap account it's imap.aol.com

is that why it's doing it??

any ideas to fix it?

Might be. I don't have an AOL account (and wouldn't use one).
