I'm a former Outlook Express user, now updated to Vista Home Premium and
Windows Mail.

OE used to automatically resize large pictures in received emails to fit in
the displayed message. I can't figure out how to make Windows Mail do this.
Can anyone help?

XP PowerToys would do the resize.
OE has never resized photos.

Here is a program that resizes photos.

OK then, let me reformulate the question:

In Vista's Windows Mail, how can I set the program to automatically display
oversized pictures, reduced in size, within the message display?

Are you the same person who asked the original question, Daddy-O, or are you
Rich who was stuck in a hot-spot?
If not then start your own thread.

So, the answer is that Vista Mail is an orphan and I should move on if I
don't like it?

Outlook Express would display each pixel of picture attachments.
This would cause oversized pictures.
Sending reduced size photos was the only solution to the problem.
If Windows Mail has the same way of displaying pictures, then it has the
same solution.
