How to assign speed dial to contacts' numbers for cell sync?

I synchronize my Outlook contacts with my cell (HTC 5800) using Windows
mobile. I would like to have my speed dial numbers assigned to contacts in
Outlook. Otherwise, whenever I sync., I lose my speed dials on the cell.

What happens if you put your speed dialing sequence in one of the phone
number fields your sync software knows how to handle?
 
If I insert the speed dial into a phone field, it remains there when
synchronizing but it no longer works as a speed dial on my cell.

You'll have to read the documentation for your sync software, then, to see
if it's able to handle synching of speed dialing numbers. Synching is
completely up to the sync software. There are no sync settings in Outlook.
