Hi!

We are running win2k3 TS with Citrix on top, and need to control access to
spesific controls via policy. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Hans,

Start by doing a web search for "ActiveX Compatibility". There are registry
entries for IE that allow or disallow the loading of specific ActiveX
controls and there is a freeware tool out there to help you (forgot its
name).

Also in GPEdit there is an option to allow access to some common Active X
controls, but you can't add your own controls to the list. You will have to
hack your .adm files to add your own ActiveX controls that you want to
block. Start by disabling one of the controls in the list and then view the
..adm file created to see the syntax for disabling controls with policy.

Regards.
