How to add SIP contacts to live messenger

Hi,
I have just upgraded MSN messenger to the new SIP compliant Windows
Live Messenger because I need to videoconference with people using the
SIP standard, but I am having trouble. All the call options (call
computer, call phone etc) ask you to choose an existing contact, but
when I try to add a contact using the sip address sip:[email protected]
it doesnt accept it. It doesnt work if I just use (e-mail address removed)
either.

Alternativley, how can other SIP users call me? Would my sip address be
sip:[email protected] or is it something else?

Any hints would be appreciated!

I'm afraid you don't, SIP is not supported in anything above MSN Messenger 4.6, and
definitely not Windows Live Messenger.
