How to add fonts to MS word 2000

Hi:

How do I add fonts to word 2000? I have two sets I would
like to add to the ones already there. I also- after
installing them- would like to see them when I clik the
drop down menu in word.

If you have added the fonts to the Windows Fonts folder, you should see them
in Word provided the printer you have selected as the default is one that
can print graphics.

It is enough if you install that font to your Operating
System. I dont think there is any separate way to install
a font for MS Word. Once, you have installed your font,
just restart your MS Word to see the change in effect. If
you are able to see the font in any application like
Wordpad, Notepad then, the MS Word should also be able to
handle them.

Fonts

I have been looking for a certain font for my fiance to use in our Wedding invitations. The font is Copperplate32BC. I have found it in an .PDF file. I am trying to copy it and load it into MS Word 2000. Any help would be grateful.

You cannot install a font from a PDF document. You must purchase the font.
But Copperplate Gothic Light is supplied with Access 97 SR2, Age of Empires
1.0a, Creative Writer 2, Greetings 99, Home Publishing 99, Office 2000
Premium, Office 97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a, Office
Professional Edition 2003, PhotoDraw 2000, Picture It! 2000, Picture It!
2002, Picture It! 98, Picture It! 99, Plus 95, Publisher 2000, Publisher 97,
Publisher 98, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Works 2002 and may
serve your purposes if you have any of those programs installed.

Hi Diego,

Word 2000 uses the fonts already installed on your operating system.
You need to go into the control panel and double click on the fonts icon, then go to file--- insert new font
select the drive the fonts are on then select the fonts.
I couldn't find my fonts in the c: drive so i installed them onto a floppy disk first, then selected the a: drive.

This will also put the fonts into the drop down menu in word 2000.
