How to add captions to be seen on a photograph?

How can I adda caption to a picture so that it can be seen on the picture
itself? I have Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Windows Photo Gallery, HP
Photosmart Essential 3.0 and Windows Media Player. Please, guide me through
the steps. Thank you.

Please post your question in a forum supporting your imaging software. This
forum is for the database software Microsoft Access, not for general computer
questions. My guess is that you will need a program for *editing* pictures,
such as Photosmart or some third party tool, rather than something like Photo
Gallery or Media Player which just display them.
