Hi everybody!
I have an access 2007 database on my network and Microsoft Access doesn’t
allow me to add my network path to the trusted locations.
In other words I want to add my network “V†to the trusted locations.
Please reply
P.S. I’m working on Windows 7

Is it possible that your network administrator has disabled the capability
through GPOs?

The front-end, which is the code and objects should reside on the local
machine and so should the Trusted Location. Only the back-end (data) resides
on the server. If you are not configured in a split database design, you
should either do so, or not use the database over a network or with multiple
users.

Note that the Auto FE Updater can create the Trusted Locations
registry key for you. As well as automatically copying down the FE to
the workstation, etc, etc.
