I am using PowerPoint 2007 version to create PowerPoint templates
now.
The question is that sometimes I delete the subtitle placeholder in
the master slide and I do not know how to add a subtitle placholder in
PowerPoint late when I go back to modify.

I really need your help because I had searched a lot but nothing
related.

Thanks!

Hi King Marsh

I see what you mean - there is no subtitle placeholder listed. Best thing I
came up with is insert a new master then drag the title slide (with subtitle
placeholder) to somewhere amongst the original masters and it will take on
*that* mother master theme. You can delete the new mother master.

Does that make any sense at all?

Or:

Insert new master
Go to the title layout and select the subtitle placeholder
Copy/paste it to the original title layout
Delete the rubble

Tick the 'Text' check box in the master layout dialog to get the sub title
master back.

If I choose the Title layout, the Master Layout button is grayed out.

If I choose the master layout and click Master Layout button, everything is
still ticked, and it's all grayed out.

Sorry for late response, You guys are very helpful.

Thanks a lot!

But Steve are right.

The same happens on my PowerPoint.
