how to account history items display email address

How do I display the column that would show the email address of the sender
of an email or receipent of an email. I can see who it is linked to, but I'd
like to see the specific person (i.e. (e-mail address removed)) next to the item type.
I've gone through the field choose but couldn't find it.

Here's what I suspect is happening:

The items shown in the history are all considered "BCM Activities".
They may ultimately be emails messages or Calendar appointments or BCM
Oportunities, but to the history grid they are just Activities. As
such, the grid can only display columns for Activity fields. Activity
fields are a common subset of the fields of the items types displayed
in the history grid. And email address is not an Activity field.
