How to access two Networks

John

I need to be able to connect to 2 networks, not simultaneously i.e. Remotely
and in an office.

I have a broadband connection set-up to connect to the internet which uses
an IP address within my LAN connection however when I wish to connect while
in my office to the network, I need to change the IP address. Is it possible
to establish 2 different LAN connections, therefore no requiring me to
change the IP address depending on if I am in the office or am remote.

I hope that doesn't seem too confusing

Thanks

Hi John,

I think u can assign two IP address to the same Network Interface, u should
be able to do this if
u go to the Advanced tab in the properties Dialog Box of ur Network
Interface.

Below link shows how it can be accomplished on a NT machine , however it
should be similar in case u r using a XP machine

Configuring Multiple IP Addresses and Gateways :

Hope it helps,
