I exported my Calendar to a PST file on another computer with the intention
of using that file as the basis of my calendar on a new PC.
However, now on the new PC I cannot load the backup PST file as I get the
error message "File access is denied. You do not have the permission required
to access the file <filename>.pst."
I no longer have access to the previous PC.
Can you suggest how I can access this file?

Did you copy the PST file back to the hard drive and remove the read only
attribute? (Any operations with PST files in Outlook will require the
ability to read/write/modify.)

Robert has given you the answer, but never export to a PST to move Outlook
data from one Outlook to another. You lose data that way. Just copy the
original PST. See
