I need to setup a few computers to access files on an external workgroup. The
computers are connected on a W2k domain and running W2K Pro. I need them to
be able to access a shared file on a workgroup which is located in a separate
office. I would like to do this using a 2nd NIC in each workstation within
the domain which i can then connect into the workgroup but i'm not sure what
other configurations I need to setup for this to function correctly. anyone
have any suggestions?

How are the LAN's separated? Doses the separate office have a presence in
your office (can you UNC (\\computername\sharename) to a resource on that
LAN)?

Won't work, and isn't needed. How are these networks connected? Workgroups
have no security to speak of (although the computers in them may), so if
there's a connection between the two networks (i.e., they're on the same
cabling/hub/switch - or there's a VPN connection between the networks) your
domain users should be able to access resources on the workgroup computers
with no configuration needed.
