I just installed an old HP OfficeJet 500. Works well and I downloaded the new
drivers that'll work with Windows XP Pro.
After I completed the install, the bloody computer will display an message,
"Hardware Wizard Detected a New Device". Every time I boot up my computer.
It's conneted via LPT Port.
Help!!! Please!!!!

I've seen precisely that problem with the OJ 500. Changing the LPT1 port
setting to ECP in the BIOS fixed it.
