How specify which accounts to send/receive

I've just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. I have several e-mail
accounts. In 2000 I was able to open up the configuration for a particular
account and click on a check box that said whether or not to receive e-mail
for a particular account. I frequently do not want to receive e-mail from one
account or another. I have not found the coresponding feature in Outlook
2003.

Try Tools | Send/Receive | Send/Receive Settings | Define Send/Receive
Groups.
