How resolve recurring appointments when syncing in Outlook 2002?

How do I remove the error message: "A program is trying to access e-mail
messages you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?" The
message recurs even after attempting to resolve. This happens when syncing
with an iPaq. The number of events needing resolution varies for no apparent
reason, and they include events that have been deleted long ago from Outlook.
The message is triggered whenever a change is made in Outlook appointments.

With what tool are you syncing the iPAQ? Certainly ActiveSync does not
elicit this message.

I am syncing the iPaq using ActiveSync 3.7 with an iPaq 1945. It only occurs
when the iPaq is in its syncing cradle. Today I have eight items that will
not accept resolution. The items date as far back as 1998 in the Outlook
calendar.

All I can tell you is that ActiveSync V3.7 never gave me that message, but
it certainly wouldn't hurt for you to install ActiveSync V3.8 and try again.
