How often does Outlook 2000 check for emails?

I am using Outlook 2000, running Windows XP Pro. My emails do not arrive
automatically. Where do I set or change any setting to have Outlook check
automatically?

Go to Tools | Options | Mail Delivery and set Outlook to check mail at the
interval you prefer -- I recommend no less than 10 minutes to allow the
servers to catch up between checks. Once you do that, Outlook should also
check for new mail automatically at startup.

I am using Outlook, running Windows XP, with Corporate Email. I do not see
the Mail delivery option. Any other place to look?

I've never been able to find a setting for send/receive frequency in OL 2000
in CW mode with the mailbox in Exchange.

The only way to do it in Corporate/Workgroup mode is to go to Tools |
Services, select the Internet E-mail Service item, select Properties, click
the Connection tab, and set your connection type to LAN. You apparently
won't get a chance to specify how often the check is made.
