For MS Office 2010 Pro Plus?
Download of 0.98GB + Backup DVD.

The closest to the cost gets a free drink in the crunchers Tavern tonight.:thumb:

Your both close.:thumb:
But to get that free drink served by TC wearing a flowing dress you need to up it a bit!

You stole it off the internet for free?

Got a deal through work for £20.
Too good an offer to turn down even though the download took 9hours!
Now playing with it to see how different to Office 2000 it is!!!!

On 4MB max, but we never get that speed.
All to do with being so far from the exchange.
Have thought of going cable, but dont really do much downloading.

And have started to realise how different offic2010 to Office2000 is.:D

Yeah i know what Attenuation is. :)

How far from the exchange are you?

We are right on the limit, but it must be about nearly 3 miles?:(
Thats the reason we cant any quicker by using the telephone line.

When we moved here I went on BT and got .3mps the service was terrible then I went on a wireless network here in Kent which is aimed at rural areas and is subsidised by Kent County Council it is £25 a month but I do get 10mps and I do wish we had Virgin out here. I told BT to revoke my contract and they wanted charge 3 months rental I refused telling them their service was not "fit for purpose" and agreed to wave the rental and returned my 2 months payments. I would never have a service that went through a BT line ever, ever again.:wall:

Not in our area yet.
A lot of debate about when the exchange will get upgraded to enable faster speeds.
