how many user can access one winows hoe xp box at once

How many user can access windows xp at home edtion I have
five computers and it tell me I can not connect when I
try the sixth machine the shared folder but if I shut one
down and ten it can connect is my network maxed or is it
windows home can only share files upto five machines
