I am sorry that in my previous post I forgot to mention critical information and should have posted my question as such

I have about 50 to 100 or so rows of information. I add/take away various rows all day, but at any given time I need to know which rows have, say, both a 3 in the A column and a 2 in the C column
A B C
1 3 x 2 x
2 2 x 3
3 3 x 2
4 2 x 2

So, in the above example, I would need the formula that would give me the sum of 2 (Row 1 and row 3). I only need a sum total of all rows that meet that criteria, not which specific rows meet it....

I apologize for appearing to "double post", I just need to get this done as soon as possible and posting the wrong question earlier did not help

THank you so much for your help

Why didn't you try the solutions that were suggested in your original post?

You would have found that they *do* exactly as you have requested!

If you had a problem for some reason, stating that problem in the original
post, where everyone could see what had been originaly suggested, would have
helped them to more easily and quickly make additional or revised proposals,
without having to perhaps re-hash what had already been submitted.

Please use your original thread and make comments as to why you *think* the
original formulas didn't fulfill your request.
