Hi all,
I'm trying to come up with an estimate for how many pages I can print per cartridge.
If a single dot can only be one colour, then is it reasonable to assume that the
amount of ink needed to print a full page of solid colour would be the same no
matter what colour was printed, be it cyan, magenta, or a blend of the two?
Can you work out how much area single dot covers if you know the drop size of
the printer and its resolution?
Or would you print one page of one solid colour and measure how much ink is
used, then divide the total capacity of the cartidge by that amount?
Manufacturer specs aren't very useful, are they?
