How long to get a Avast serial code??

Over the past two months I have been using the free Avast virus
software which runs for 60 days the dies if the serial is not entered.
On Oct 01 I followed the pop up links on the first to the Avast site
and entered in the details. Their web site says that I should get one
back with in 24 hours. It's now the 5th and no serial. How long is
24 hours in the Avast world..??
 
Avast is having some problems with the robot that sends out license
keys. Try registering with a different email address(s).

In my case, each year (14 months, really), the confirming email arrived
within a half-hour.

Just in case you may have made a typo in your email address, you should
probably try again.

Thanx for the info. I reregistered after reading your info and it
arrived within 10 minutes.. Great little virus checker..
