How long to copy 4.2 gigs from DVD to HD ??

Took me 9;30 seconds. thats at 16 times does that sound about right
seems slow since my reformat and reinstall.

I know i installed the mobo drivers.

Can you tell me if thats slow or not ?

I think it takes 6 minutes to burn a DVD backup from memorry.

If it is a lot of files (lots of very slow DVD seeks), then
the number is no surprise. If it is one large file,
then it is too slow. Burning does not count, since it only
does a linear write.
