How long is the ATX form factor supposed to last?

Are there any big changes on the horizon regarding form factors? I mean
changes comparable to AT --> ATX. I'm trying to decide how good of a
case and PSU to buy.
 
I would say that the ATX and mini ATX will be around for a while....it
took some time before somebody decided we needed it and setting standards
along these lines is an arduous ordeal, not one the industry is likely to
upset. There will be changes as things begin to get 'smaller' is size, but
ill bet you will be safe between now and your next build/upgrade.
