How long can will calendars be kept for?

I'd like to know for how long, in years, will a calendar
entry be saved in Outlook.
A few users have come up and told me that it appears that
only recurring calendar events seem to be saved for
several years, but non-recurring calendar entries seem to
get deleted or lost.

Is there a way to find out for how long will calendar
entries remain in Outlook or is there a setting that
removes them after several years?

Depends on the archive settings. Check the Proeprties dialog for the folder.
