virusscaqnning is done at my providers place and i have here a good
virusscanner norton 2003
the mail is first scanned at my provisder and then oncwe again
in my own system
still i get remarks of several sites that i am sending virusses around
i do not understand this
Is there an explanation for this

Other computers, (not your computer at home or work) are infected with a
virus and spoof your e-mail address as the 'from' in the e-mail when they
re-mail the virus out to the world. The infected computer(s) randomly find
your e-mail address somewhere on their hard drive. This is a painfully
common technique with all the viruses that re-mail themselves. There is
next to nothing you can do about it.
