How import messages from Outlook Express

I have moved to a new computer and am am attempting to import my messages from Outlook Express into Outlook 2000. I have copied over the Documents and Settings folder from my old laptop
I use the import utility and point it to the directory where the *.dbx files are

C:\OLDLAPTOP\Documents and Settings\willem\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{B131E2F2-716C-48AA-B8D0-81FBBAAC2AB8}\Microsoft\Outlook Expres

No joy...

Any assistance
 
First you'll have to configure Outlook Express with the old dbx-files. Then
you can use Export from within Outlook Express.
