How I save my Outlook Contacts and its infroamtion to to a CD?

Where is that information in my computer so I could copy it to the CD?

Thank you for your introduction, Russ.
There is a lot of information in the sites that you mention below.
My Office is Office XP (which year is that? 2000 or 2002?)
Some of the links below say Office 97, anohter Office 98, which one is the
one for what I have?
Thanks in advance again.

The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup:

The information on Slipstick will cover everything you need for later
versions.

XP is 2002 and 2000 is 2000. I wish Microsoft would sit down with some
regular folks and ask us why we are so confused. I mean - Explorer vs.
Internet Explorer; Outlook Express vs. Outlook; Access releases that refuse
to read legacy Access applications; absolutely ARCANE routes to common tasks
in Outlook; the field "extension" not indicated as a "common" phone field;
OL's default name sort on the FIRSTNAME for god's sake! Anyhow, I have used
OL since 97 and will continue to do so, however, I must rant from time to
time. Good luck.
