I would like to apply the desfragmentation to my application.

I would guess that there is both a language translation problem and a lack
of computer knowledge here.

"Defragmentation" (no "s") is a technique for rearranging the contents of a
disk -- usually a hard disk -- to improve performance. It does not apply to
individual applications (programs), and usually not even to individiual
files.

In any case, it has little or nothing to do with Microsoft Word, the topic
of this newsgroup.

Thank you.
Exactly, the correct word is defragmentation and clearly, if we asked this
type of question, you can easily note that we are computer users and not IT
specialists. We are not asking to identify our level of computer knowledge
but assistance.
Your IT intuition perhaps could have guided you to understand the question
but unfourtunately, it didn't. It is clear that this is not a Microsoft
issue but I am sure that you the steps to be followed to make a disk
defragmentation. Could a member of the group assist me to do this action.
Thank you very much.

To answer the question directly: In Windows Explorer (called "My Computer"
or "Computer" in some Windows versions), right-click the disk you want to
work on and choose the Properties item. In the Properties dialog, click the
Tools tab. You will find a button there to start the defragmentation
program.

However, I do want to point out that each forum and newsgroup has a
more-or-less specific topic. If you're aware that your question doesn't fall
within the topic of the group you're in, it's considered polite to look for
the proper group or at least to ask which group that might be. To do
otherwise simply leads to anarchy.

The correct newsgroup for asking about defragmentation would be in one for
your operating system, since it has nothing to do with Office.

Or, even simpler, to utilize "Google". You'd be amazed.

This could have easily been solved by opening Help & Support on your
computer and searching for "defragmentation." Your question would have been
answered without invoking the type of answers that you received, each and
every one was correct.
