I don't know if someone has done this before, but in my case my first
installation failed when I install it to my D: drive. I tried uninstalling
and reinstalling it a few times and it still failed with error 101.
Finally, I installed it to my C: drive (the default location). This time it
works.

If you are thinking about permissions to D: drive, I have full rights to
both drive.

Thanks for the report. On my system, Microsoft Antispyware is installed to
drive D, and my Windows installation is, as it happens, on drive E.

So I'm not sure what the issues are here, but they aren't simple, I suspect.
