How has Outlook helped with task scheduling?

I have just started to use Outlook for scheduling, but would like to know if
there is a right or wrong way in scheduling task to maximize output.

That depends on your own working scenario and methods you feel most
comfortable with. That is why Outlook is highly customizable.
Easy example; some people like getting pop-up reminders while others just
get stressed by it.
