How far should the back of case be from the wall?

For ventilation purposes, that is. I'm planning to do some overclocking so
I figure every little bit helps. 6"? 8"? Or does it not matter as long as
you have some good fans?

there isn't an answer to this, is there?
you won't get less than a couple of inches as the cables have to exit
somewhere anyway.
