Have been using MS Antispyware for several months now
with no problems and have installed it onto part of our
domain.
What I would really like to know is how easy is it going
to be to upgrade to a full version when the Beta licence
runs out at the end of July? Will there be a package that
could be rolled out via GPO?
There seems to be no information on this.

Also is their an estimated cost for this as I would
imagine Microsoft will be charging for this program after
it expires?!

Many Thanks

According to unofficial info there will be two versions of MSAS - one, free
for licenced Windows users, but rather for home environments; and second
one, commercial, and at some price, but manageable through GPO, for
enterprise environments.

Hi Mikolaj

Can it be more official then from Bill himself ? ;)

"At the RSA conference, Bill Gates announced the consumer and
enterprise strategy for Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware.
"The personal version of the final Windows AntiSpyware software (will
be) available at no additional charge to licensed Windows customers as
part of the Windows value proposition. The offering will offer full
functionality to consumers, including the ability to detect and remove
spyware, continual protection that helps guard against more than 50
ways that Web sites and programs can put spyware on a PC, and
protection against the latest threats through the combined efforts of
the SpyNetT community and Microsoft researchers. For business
customers, with more complex infrastructure support, management and
deployment needs, Microsoft plans a managed anti-spyware solution that
will be available as part of a paid solution."
