How does this calendar work?

I like the way the calendar works on this site (www.acdp.com) and would like
to design a site with a similar feature. Daily list of events is
automatically updated on the home page and links to details of events are
available.

How do you think this was done?

Thanks,

That site is using Server side scripting (PHP) and probably a Database for the events
- most decent calendars will require use of Server side scripting and a database (the type depends on what your host supports)

Stephan,

Can you recommend a source for someone to provide cut-n-paste code to
generate such a calendar for a reasonable fee?

Thanks

It's not quite as simple as 'cut and paste'; however a good resource site is
http://www.hotscripts.com - just search for "calendars" - I don't know if
you'll find one *exactly* like the sample you provided but you should be
able to find something there.

You could actually do the same type of "events" listing on that site you
gave with the FP database components easily enough, using the results wizard
and access database.

I've done a similar thing here (all just using the FP results wizard) :
