It is very frustrating to see that every time I start a new line in a txt
message
I get a capital letter which makes a nonsense to the recipient and slow me
down
because I have to go back and type a small letter instead!

Go into the AutoCorrect config for whatever e-mail editor you use.
Could be you use the embedded new-mail editor in Outlook which means
you need to adjust the auto-correct settings in Outlook. Could be you
configured Outlook to use Word as your new-mail editor, or you're stuck
using Word 2007 when using Outlook 2007, so you will need to adjust the
auto-correct settings in Word.

If you use word as your default editor, go into word and unset the
capitalization in the first character code. I don't recall exactly where it
is but in word you can set characteristics for paragraphs, etc. If I find it
I will post it here.

You could turn off Word as your default email editor: go to Tools\Options,
open the Mail Format Tab and clear both check boxes near the top.
