We are having a bit of a problem with one of our servers. It has 3 scsi
drives with a single controller and the scsi operation is being perfomed by
an Adaptec 2100s
We have been getting, amongst other errors, this one
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\DR8
Ive actually had the error a few times, but slightly different, such as
\Device\HardDisk0\DR0
Very little help on MS or eventid.net, although i did find ms article
159865. Ive also got the Adaptec storage manager installed
Problem is, how do i tell which disk relates to \Device\Harddisk0\DR8. the
MS kb art and the Storage manager all point to Scsi Port and Scsi ID's.
The Harddisk bit seems obvious, but is that the controller or the drive, and
if so, whats the DR stand for ?
