set up a new user, but only to have limited uses? scenerio- i am admin, i
want to set 2 new users, (young users, under there own names), but i do not
want them to have acess to my files. Do i A) have to move any files from "all
users" B) if i do where do i move them? C) can i make different desktops and
designs for each of them? D) can i set restrictions on what they can do
(delete files, move files, ruin any files...lol) many thanks with any help..

Every user on a machine has their own Desktop and Start Menu, providing that
they have their own account.

Start Menu for everyone is a combination of both of these:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
and
C:\Documents and Settings\User's Name\Start Menu

Desktop for everyone is a combination of both of these:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
and
C:\Documents and Settings\User's Name\Desktop

Anything in C:\Documents and Settings\All User is fair game for all users.

From XP HELP:

[[Limited account
The limited account is intended for someone who should be prohibited from
changing most computer settings and deleting important files. A user with a
limited account:

• Cannot install software or hardware, but can access programs that have
already been installed on the computer.
• Can change his or her account picture and can also create, change, or
delete his or her password.
• Cannot change his or her account name or account type. A user with a
computer administrator account must make these kinds of changes.

Note
Some programs might not work properly for users with limited accounts. If
so, change the user's account type to computer administrator, either
temporarily or permanently.
-----
