I'm tryin to get on to aol service, and they say I need
to turn my cookies on. . . how can one go about doing
this?
 
These are for Internet Explorer, for other browsers I think the options are
similar.

Start IE, choose Tools, then Internet Options, then the Privacy tab. Now
you can either move the slider up and down, or (this is probably the
best)click the Edit button near the bottom of the page and allows specific
AOL sites to write cookies to your machine.
