How do you UNhide a slide??????

Simply repeat the process to toggle the hidden status of a slide.

I accidently hid a slide, but could find no clearcut way
to UNhide it. What am I missing?

Change to Slide Sorter view.
The hidden slide will have a box around the slide number in the lower right
corner and a slash through the number. Rightclick the slide image and click
Hide Slide on the popup menu.

Hide Slide is also on the Slide Show menu - you can use that in Normal View.

It's also on the popup when you click a slide in the Slide Pane in 2002 and
up.

In sorter view, you can select multiple slides and hide 'em all or unhide
'em all in one swell foop.

Er? Poke around until you accidentally undo what you accidentally did? ;-)
 
In the slide layout, click the slide you have hidden then right click the click hide, when you view as a presentation show you will see the slide
