How do you turn off the write cache?

I have a problem with the cache storing information and not writting to the
server. I would like to know how to turn off the cache to force the write to
the server's hard drive.

For Computers That Run Windows XP
Because of design differences between Windows 2000 and Windows XP, there
are currently no plans to release a supported update for this behavior
for Windows XP.
